A Lifelong Love Affair

SPECIAL REPORT
by: Bridgett, TREND Writer

Zandra Rhodes clothing is being featured at Balboa Park's International Mingei Museum through April the 3rd of next year! The exhibit is titled "A Lifelong Love Affair with Textiles."

So while working on midterms, you have something to daydream about visiting in the near future.

*Don't forget that The Mingei Museum has free admission on the 3rd weekend of every month (tomorrow!).

Colour Colour Colour Colour

MONDAY MUSE
Recommendation: Addie, TREND Stylist
British Designer Zandra Rhodes is anything but plain. Her designer collections are heavy with colors and wild patterns that seem to reflect her own zany, colorful personality. Although she primarily designs clothing, she also designs wrapping paper, jewelry and more recently in 2001 costumes for the opera (which happened to be the San Diego opera!). She has designed for an quite eclectic group that includes Vogue, Freddie Mercury, and Princess Diana.

When choosing between the gray tunic and the black tunic this week. Don't (or try not to!) Try to find something to brighten up your wardrobe. Add a splash of color! Accessories tend to do the trick. Try wearing a colorful feathered headband, a brilliant bright belt or colorful jewelry. Be bold this week ;)
